![]() ![]() Move over Bethesda horse armour, Festering Skies is a serous contender for the worst DLC ever made. Festering Skies contains some truly bad enemy design and horrible game design milestones. If you thought the new enemies introduced in Legacy if the Ancients were bad, well this DLC will give you so many things to debate. I’m not going to spoil it for you, but your in for some head scratching, “what the heck were the devs thinking” moments on some of those missions. This DLC also introduces some new enemy types. And you’re going to feel like you’re doing an exotic weapons quest in Destiny 2 because there are around 22 additional missions included in this DLC. But the new enemy type, The Pure, show up fully kitted out in cybernetic cyborg armour-in the early game. These are powerful and expensive, and require considerable resources to repair battle damage, so you’ll really only make use of them in the late game. This DLC gives you access to cybernetic enhancements, which are essentially your top-tier armour upgrades for your soldiers. These missions are supposed to be early game content, but one of these missions (often the first one) will probably spawn on the other side of the planet-effectively rendering it late game content. To get all three, you need to complete three missions. You get a super powerful suit of armour and two somewhat-powerful weapons. Here is a run down on all the DLC in the base game. It’s so much better than the original game because it properly integrates all the DLC. And the more you activate, the worse the game becomes.īut you need all the DLC to play the Terror from the Void Mod (TftV). ![]()
